JMCP was established in the year 2018 with Diploma Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course with 60 seats, to impart high quality education in the field of Pharmaceutical Science (Code- 1977) after the institute received Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) (Code- 946) course with 60 seats, in 2019 to create pharmacy professionals at both the levels.
The college is Recognized by PCI, Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and Affiliated to AKTU & BTE Lucknow, U.P. The college provides a stimulant, vibrant and productive environment for Pharmaceutical Education and Research. The campus is equipped with modern labs, multimedia classrooms, seminar hall, rich library with internet and national and international journals, Computer lab, student centre for co-curricular activities, academic and administrative block and others.

Great teaching atmosphere and conglomeration of intellectuals from many parts of India. I did my Optometry here in 2005 and feel proud of joining this medical institution. Many of the alumni are spreading its light into different parts of the world
